Summer Holidays

Hi, today I've decided to write about my summer holidays which are just about to start. I'm going to go to Mar del Plata like I did last year, from the 15th of December to the 1st of January. There I'll spend Christmas and New Year with my family and some friends, I'll also go to the beach and sunbathe. During the rest of the holidays I'll probably go to C.U.B.A . There, I usually go to the pool, sunbathe, play hockey and chat with my friends.

I love summer holidays because I get to do many interesting and fun things, I don't have to wake up early in the morning to go to school, I go to the pool or the beach almost every day and I really enjoy myself .

Our camp at Mendoza

Hi, as you all know we came back from camping at Mendoza a few days ago and I would like to tell you what are the things I most enjoyed .

I loved the camping site, the "Club of Pescadores", it was an amazing place, the view was awesome. We also did many interesting things such as rafting in the Atuel river, the water was freezing but it was really fun. I enjoyed the vivac, it was so much fun, having to build our own shelter and cook our own food, the view there was also great, the only bad thing about it were the "bathrooms". We also visited "La Vieja Bodega" where we could see how wine is made. I got to spend a lot of time with my friends and know new people I didn't know very much.

In my conclusion Mendoza is a really nice part of our country and all the affort made by everyone was really worth it.

Penguins in Chubut

Hi, today I've decided to write about the “Vigil of Magellanic Penguins”. This, is taking place at the coasts of Punta Tombo in Chubut, Agentina. The penguins come from Brazil, where they spend the winter, to rest, couple and eat for many months. They put only two eggs and the little penguins are born some months after. People can enjoy this natural phenomenon and the awesome view at the same time. This vigil of the Magellanic Penguins is taking place from September 21 to September 23 and is being transmited in many TV channels, such as CN5 or TN news. It is also showed in some newspapers, for example Clarin and El Diario de Madryn.

My holidays

Hi, as you know, our winter holidays have ended, so I've decided to tell you a little bit about what I have done.

During the winter holidays I stayed in Buenos Aires, I went to the cinema, there I watched Harry Potter 5 and The Simpsons Movie. I also went shopping and to the Parque de la costa with my friends. I slept lots and read some books.In the image,there's me and some of my friends at Parque de la Costa.

I have really enjoyed my winter holidays, I hope you have too.

Live Earth

Hi, today I've decided to write about Live Earth concerts. This concerts' aim is to let people know about the climate change, it's consequences and how to help. This concerts took place on the 7/07/2007 in the USA, the United Kingdom, Brazil, China, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Germany.
They bring together more than 100 artists (for example : Black Eyead Peas, Bon Jovi, Shakira (img.), Madonna, James Blunt (img.), Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc.) and more than 2 bollion people. For more information you can go to: http://www.liveearth.org/

Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows

Hi! Today I've decided to write about the last book of Harry Potter's story, Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.

This is the last book of this fantastic series wich has been enjoyed by pelople all arround the world and of different ages.

It's main characters are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasly. They live several adventures in their school, Hogwarts.

There are 7 books, all written by J.K Rowling, a famous English writer. This last book is going to be released on July the 21st 2007.

There are lots of editions and publishers who publish Harry Potter's books , for example Scholastic and Salamanca. There are also many editions for children and for adults.

Shrek the Third

Hi again.

This time I've decided to write about the movie Shrek the Third.

There are lots of things to say about this movie. It's amazing, everyone can have fun with it, from little children to adults. As you might know there are two more movies Shrek and Shrek2. Shrek is an oger who lives with Fiona (Cameron Dias), the princess from Far Far Away. Some other characters are, Shrek's best friend, the Donkey (Eddie Murphie), Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), Prince Charming, Arty(Justin Timberlake) and many others.

I had the opportunity to watch it last Friday with my friends, I had a really good time. If you haven't watched it, you should, it's really funny.

Arround the World in Eighty Days

Hi!

I decided to write about the new book we've started reading, Arround the World in Eighty Days, written by Jules Verne. First, I'm going to tell you about the story, and then about it's author.(image)

This book is about Phileas Fogg, a gentelman who lives in London in 1872. He makes a bet with his friends that he can travel around the world in eighty days. He travels arround Europe, Africa, Asia and America. Meanwhile a detective is following him to arrest him, because he thinks Fogg has robbed some money from a bank.

Jules Verne (1828-1905) is a French writer whose best known books are Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in Eighty Days. He was born in Nantes, France. When he was a kid he ran away to join a merchant ship, but he was cought and returned to his parents. He was sent to study law in Paris, but he stopped and started writing. When his parents got to know this, they stopped giving him the money to study and he had to sell his stories to make some . He wrote many stories and became rich. Jules Verne died in Amines in 1905.

My Pet

Hi everyone!.As most of you have written about your holidays, I wanted to change...
I've decided to write about my pet. I have a dog called Scott. What I really like about him is that he's really playful, for example when he wants to play with me he takes something from me and runs arround the dinner-room table and when I reach him he licks my face. I like taking him for a walk - although sometimes he pulls so hard that it looks as if HE was taking ME for a walk. Right now he is sitting beside me, I think he wants something more to eat... (I've just fed him). He sleeps on the floor at my parent´s room, where he has a sort of bed for dogs. He is supposed to eat twice a day, although sometimes my brother gives him the vegetables he doesn´t like. Here's one of the first photos we've taken of him, but now he's three times that size.
