My winter holidays

Hi! I decide to write about my winter holidays. In my holidays, I went to Mendoza with my family, a friend of my brother and a friend of mine.
We were hospedeted in my grandpa-aunt 's house. It is a country-side. We call it "El Campito". There, we stayed 10 days (I came back yesterday).
We went to ski two times. The first time I was going down of the mountain and I felt down because I coudn't control my skies and I broke me glases. The second time we were very lucky because there were a lot of people and we can't almost get the equipment.
One time we went to the mountain and we rent some sledges and we slide many times with it. That day we saw snowing. It was fantastic!
We went to Puente del Inca. It used to be a hotel but a snow destroit it many years ago. The same day we saw the Aconcagua and when we were going to take a photo and I slide with the camera. Anything happended to the camera but now I realize and I don't know why I did't break my waist.
I went to the cinema with my friend to watch Harry Potter.
We visited my aunt who lived some kilometers away fom "El Campito".

Hi, today I've decided to write about Live Earth concerts. This concerts' aim is to let people know about the climate change, it's consequences and how to help. This concerts took place on the 7/07/2007 in the USA, the United Kingdom, Brazil, China, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Germany.
They bring together more than 100 artists (for example : Black Eyead Peas, Bon Jovi, Shakira (img.), Madonna, James Blunt (img.), Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc.) and more than 2 bollion people. For more information you can go to: http://www.liveearth.org/

the Olsen twins

They are called Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. They were borned the 13 th of June in 1986, in “Los Angeles”

When they were 4 years old their parents divorced and they had to move to another city.

They are American actresses, best known for playing the role of Michelle Tanner on the sitcom Full House

Although they are identical twins they are very different . For example , Mary Kate is left handed and Ashley is right handed.

Both Olsen twins have appeared in television and films since infancy.

Since then, they have continued their celebrity through numerous television programs, films, interviews, etc. As a rule, they appeared together, and have filmed movies worldwide.

Holidays!

Hi! As we are working with vocabulary connected with entertainment and holidays, I`ve decided to write about my last short holidays.I couldn´t write about my holidays last time because in summer I didn´t go anywhere.
So my last holidays were on Merlo San Luis. We went to different places and we visited the hills and other atractions. The landscape was beautiful and the weather was spectacular we didn`t have any cloudy day. We followed two rivers unil they ended or there was a waterfall, the first river was called Piedra Blanca and the other one Salto de Tabaquillo.(first photo) After those two days climbing and jumping and running we were exhausted so the other day we decided to rest a bit and we visited the city, first we went to a monastery called Las Hermanas de Belen, and later we went to the top of the hill ,in car obiously,(El Filo, you can see on the second photo the road)From there you can see all the city and all the hills,we were so overwhelmed that there was snow, that we started to play with it. Also we arrived just when the sun started to go down,it was really a fantastic landscape and moment. Finally the last day we decided to go to Parque Nacional las Quijadas (that is 300 km from Merlo and you have to go throught the central hills), where you could see the different geologics eras, and also dainosours footprints, there we went down and down, and also we learned new animals, like...cachicabra that is like a bambi, or we saw eagles, wild boars, pumas and littles mules. And just that day a channel was filming something.
And from San Luis we went to Rosario, because it was my cousin`s birhtday.
Well in my opinion that is a really beautiful and intresting place to go, with your family, I really enjoyed it a lot.

Hi! Today I've decided to write about the last book of Harry Potter's story, Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.

This is the last book of this fantastic series wich has been enjoyed by pelople all arround the world and of different ages.

It's main characters are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasly. They live several adventures in their school, Hogwarts.

There are 7 books, all written by J.K Rowling, a famous English writer. This last book is going to be released on July the 21st 2007.

There are lots of editions and publishers who publish Harry Potter's books , for example Scholastic and Salamanca. There are also many editions for children and for adults.

Welcome Home, Olivia

WELCOME HOME, OLIVIA

Olivia is my pet.She is a dog.She is a poodle.I have got Olivia since two years and I couldn´ t forget that wonderful and exciting moment.
When I arrived home from school, in the afternoon, there she was,scared and so lonely behind a chair in the kitchen.
At first, I didn´ t understand what was that tiny and hairy thing and I felt upset.I wonder myself if that”thing” wasn´ t really a rat, but after a minute I was in a completely state of hapiness.My dear Olivia began to cry,like a baby, so, inmediately Igave her a big hug .
She needed love and protection ,but she continued crying all night long, so…Welcome home Olivia.
Nowadays,she continues being small.She is twenty eight centimetres long and weighs two and half kilograms.Her head is round with small ears and oval,black eyes.She has got a long nose and sharp white teeth,but they aren´ t big.Her whole head and body is hairy and black.Her hair is short and curly.
My mother and I take Olivia to the animal´ s hairdresser for cutting her hair at least twice a year.Her legs are long and thin .
Olivia likes playing with everything which is around her,that´ s to say with her toys,balls,my socks,my parents´ sleepers
and of course my pencils.
She prefers going to the countryside than going for a walk,because she loves running,jumping,and playing with flowers.
My mother becomes angry when Olivia eats her flowers.Isn´ t this funny? I think my dog feels free at the countryside.
Olivia is always happy.She is cheerful and funny.
She eats meat, pastas, tomatoes,lettuce,peanuts, and chocolate, as you can see she eats everything,but she doesn´ t eat her food.She is terrible but it is not her fault,my mother used to give her that special menu and now each time my family is sitting ,having breakfast,or dinner,Olivia asks for her food..
At night, when I go to sleep,she follows me and stays under my bed,lying in a green cushion.
Sometimes, if the night is cold,she jumps onto my bed and sleeps on my feet.
Olivia is incredible,I love her very much,she is not only my pet,she is like my little sister.Thousands of kisses for you…beautiful poodle!!!

Azkaban

Hippogriff
Magical creature that has the front legs, wings and head of an eagle, and the body, hind legs and tail of a horse.
Dementor
Creature who feeds on the happy emotions of humans. Dementors are employed as guards at Azkaban. The kiss of a Dementor will suck out a human's soul, leaving an emotionless shell.

Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic; Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Harry’s fifth year.

Harry's archenemy at Hogwarts. A thin boy with a pale, pointed face and a sneering expression. He has a bored, drawling voice and looks with contempt upon everyone else. Malfoy believes himself to be superior to Harry and hates Harry and all his friends. Malfoy is in Slytherin house.
