My cousins

HI !I am going to write about my cousins. I have 16 cousins but in this photo appear only some of them.
This photo was taken this summer, when we went to Miramar. We had been planning that trip for a long time.
I really like playing with all my cousins. They are very funny , we go to the cinema, to the shopping and also to the club together.
I have 2 cousins that are twins, they are 8 years old. I'm the oldest girl cousing so, sometimes I get very boried because they are all younger than me, exept for 3 boys.
I have 2 baby cousins, one is 1 mounth and the other is 9 mounth.
However I spend more time with my boy cousin , who is the same age than me , than with the others.
Well I think I have a big family , and that you will like this little information I gave you about my cousins.

Stephen King

Stephen Edwin King was born in Portland, Maine in 1947, the second son of Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King. After his parents separated he and his older brother, David, started to travel around the country with his mother to places like New York, Chicago, Wiscosin, etc. When finally they decided to return to Maine. There he started to write some stories and he graduated in 1966. When he started the University of Maine he wrote a column for the school newspaper, The Main Campus.He was also active in student politics, serving as a member of the Student Senate.He graduated from the University of Maine at Orono in 1970, with a B.A. in English and qualified to teach on the high school levelHe and Tabitha Spruce married in January of 1971. He met Tabitha in the Library at the University of Maine at Orono, where they both worked as students. Stephen made his first professional short story sale ("The Glass Floor") to Startling Mystery Stories in 1967. Throughout the early years of his marriage, he continued to sell stories to men's magazines.In the fall of 1971, Stephen began teaching high school English classes at Hampden Academy, the public high school in Hampden, Maine. Writing in the evenings and on the weekends, he continued to produce short stories and to work on novels.At the end of the summer of 1973, the Kings moved their growing family to southern Maine because of Stephen's mother's failing health. Returning to Maine in the summer of 1975, the Kings purchased a home in the Lakes Region of western Maine. At that house, Stephen finished writing The Stand. In 1977, the Kings spent three months in England.Because their children have become adults, Stephen and Tabitha now spend winters in Florida and the remainder of the year at their Bangor and Center Lovell homes.The Kings have three children: Naomi Rachel, Joe Hill and Owen Phillip, and three grandchildren.Joe Hill King also appeared in Creepshow, which was released in 1982. Stephen and Tabitha provide scholarships for local high school students and contribute to many other local and national charities.

Hi, with this foto I want you to know more about me.I was born on April 7th in 1994, since I was two years I went to the kindergarten Pau Pau and when I was four years I started at Saint Agustine's School.

I like listen to music, play tennis and football with my friends in the club C.U.B.A.

I sarted to play tennis when I was six years with my parents. Now I still play tennis with them.

I have been playing rugby in C.U.B.A from 2004 to 2006.

For two years I had done box in C.U.B.A then i left because I didn't have time. In the photo appeares me and the two coaches.

Last year I have done acuatic ski with my cousins. In the photo appeares me and the instructor.

Now I realize that first year is a very big and difficult chalenge. I hope to pass all the subjects.

Now I am learning how to play the guitarr whit my father.

Hello!how are you?Now i am going to speak to you about the pink panther , because is one of our favourites cartoons.The creator of the pink panther was isador Friz Freleng.At the first look of the panther anyone could believe that it was going to be so important.First of all it was the inspector the real celebrity of the history, not the panther.The people loved the pink panther because of having a healthy sense of stile. At 1969 a mass collection was make, and it was aires in NBC by the title of The pink panther.


The first cartoons of the pink panther were make in television at 1978. Six years later NBC created the pink panther whit his suns Panky and Punky.


At 1993 the last version debut as The pink panther again.


The pink panther (the cartoon) has his own star where he has printed his footprints in the Boulevard of the fame of Hollywood, in front of the Chinese theatre.


The series of cartoon network was make at 1997 whit a lot of chapters. And until this moment The pink panther has been seen in a lot of countries.

The movies:

The 20 of march of 1963 the first movie was premiere, and the cartoons of the credits were so good that the 27 of abril of 1963 the cartoon occupied the front page of the important magazine Times. This takes to the producer to think about putting this character in a cartoon and becoming it independent odgf the movie.


All the movies, series of cartoons and comics that come after the first movie have two things in communal:

1. The arguments, the characters and the characterization of the characters.



2. The important song of Henry mancini.

The new movie of the pink panther:

A famous coach of football has been murderer, and his legendary ring whit a diamond known as "the pink panther", has been stolen. The French government needs an astute detective to resolve the crime and get the ring. but the perfect detective to this job is busy, so they recruit Jacques Clouseau. clouseau and his partner, Ponton, will have to found the murderer and they will try to avoid that their bos, Dreyfus, found the murderer first. The Inspector Jacques Clouseau is a name that terrify to the criminals, because it doesn't care his stupid way of resolving the problems, he always resolve them.

The car of the pink panther:

The pink panther used to arrived to the studio in a brilliant car, that drived a child, he took out his helmet and opened the door to the characters to go out of the car.

This time I will write about my favourite actor, Orlando Bloom.
Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom was born in January 13 in 1977.Is an English actor. He had his role in the early 2000s as the elf-prince Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and subsequently established himself as a lead in Hollywood films, including Troy, Elizabeth town, and Kingdom of Heaven.
Bloom has said that he tries "not to exclude (himself) from real life as much as possible". He is a Manchester United fan and lives in London. During filming in Morocco for Kingdom of Heaven, Bloom rescued and adopted a dog, Sidi (a black Saluki mix with a white mark on his chest). Bloom is a practising Buddhist;In 2004, he became a full member of Soka Gakkai International, a lay Buddhist association affiliated with the teachings of Nichiren. Shrek the Third

Hi again.

This time I've decided to write about the movie Shrek the Third.

There are lots of things to say about this movie. It's amazing, everyone can have fun with it, from little children to adults. As you might know there are two more movies Shrek and Shrek2. Shrek is an oger who lives with Fiona (Cameron Dias), the princess from Far Far Away. Some other characters are, Shrek's best friend, the Donkey (Eddie Murphie), Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), Prince Charming, Arty(Justin Timberlake) and many others.

I had the opportunity to watch it last Friday with my friends, I had a really good time. If you haven't watched it, you should, it's really funny.

The misterious island

As you know we started reading a well-known book written by Jules Verne. Well I want to tell you about another book written by him called The misterious island. This book tells the story of a group of men and a dog who were prisioners of war who decided to scape by baloon. Unluckly while they were escapong a furious storm was born and made them crash into an island. There they had to live till being rescued. While they were there , they discovered unusual things that made them think... Well better I don't tell this if not I will ruined the mistery of the book.

It's a interesting book and if you have the opportunity of reading it, don't waste it. It will make you see that reading is positive for your life.

Hellow, as you know last week I wrote about Harry Potter's film today I am going to write about a book call Search for the Shadowman.

Arround the World in Eighty Days

Hi!

I decided to write about the new book we've started reading, Arround the World in Eighty Days, written by Jules Verne. First, I'm going to tell you about the story, and then about it's author.(image)

This book is about Phileas Fogg, a gentelman who lives in London in 1872. He makes a bet with his friends that he can travel around the world in eighty days. He travels arround Europe, Africa, Asia and America. Meanwhile a detective is following him to arrest him, because he thinks Fogg has robbed some money from a bank.

Jules Verne (1828-1905) is a French writer whose best known books are Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in Eighty Days. He was born in Nantes, France. When he was a kid he ran away to join a merchant ship, but he was cought and returned to his parents. He was sent to study law in Paris, but he stopped and started writing. When his parents got to know this, they stopped giving him the money to study and he had to sell his stories to make some . He wrote many stories and became rich. Jules Verne died in Amines in 1905.

Rupert Grint was born on August 24th, 1988 in Hertfordshire, England. From a very young age, he knew he wanted to be an actor, and took part in after school drama classes.
Already a Harry Potter fan from reading the books, Rupert was watching a British television show for kids that told about auditions for the film. He sent in a letter because he thought he would be perfect for the role of Ron. Not one to let matters drop, Rupert logged onto the Newsround website and saw that another boy had sent in an audition video. With the help of his mother, Rupert made a video as well, and soon after, he received notice that he had an audition. Finaly he got the role of Ron Weasly.

My (photogenic) dog:

Hi!
As everyone have been talking about their pets, I wanted to talk about mine aswell.

I have a dog called Canela (really I don´t know if it´s her colour, but the name fits to her). She`s a Golden Retriever and it´s...let me think...oh, yes, 4 years old. But now it´s nothing to do with that photo in which she has...I think that 6 months. In fact, she´s the double of big... or more.

Although her size, she´s very friendly and inofensive - she has never bitten people- but I think that in my flat she doesn´t have space enough for a dog like her ; in a house she would be better, more commfy. Anyway, very near to my house its "Plaza Las Heras" , so I take Canela for a walk on middays, my brother at afternoons and my father at night.

Canela (like that kind of dogs) loves water. In this picture I remember that we were in Palermo´s lakes and she escaped from me and throw directly into the water. She even swam up to the little island of the middle! She also loves eating and sleeping. I think that when we are not at home, she sleeps over the beds, sofas and even over my teddy bears!

With my brother, we `ve teached her a lot of tricks, like: To sit, to stand up, to jump, to give you her leg and to give you the other, to lie onto the floor, to find us when we hide and to find SOMETHING we hide. It seems a lot, right? Well, really it´s not because they are all like games for her and we always prized her with food if she do it O.K.

Well, if I told you all the stories I have from Canela, we would stay up to midnight like this, so I better end it here...or not...

Just as last detail, I`d like to tell you all the ways in which we call Canela:

The Friendship

In The Body the theme of the book was the friendship, and I think that , that topic is , first very interesting and second is a part of our life.

Friendship isn´t the relationship you have with the people you know, or the people you just say Hello! or Nice to meet you!, is the relationship with people you really love, the people you know very well and they know you very well, and those ar call Friends. The friends are those who always are there to help in good and bad times, those people in you can trust and they will not betray, those people you would give evrything for those people you call friends.

But sometimes is tragic because the friendship is like the health, we never realize the true importance of it until we lose it. And a life with no friends is like living in a desert island without water, and without light. But the one who discover the true frindship, discover an enormous treasure. And as in the photo says if you need a hand I am here.

Hi! I'm going to write about My cousin Luca. He is a little baby that is 10 months. He is very funny, he likes playing and he laugh all the time. I think he is a beautiful child. I love him so much and when Luca was born I feel very happy. Is incredible, I got 9 cousins, a lot I think.

All the Saturdays I'm going to visit him and when I arrived he looks surprised. He always is moving, jumping and sometimes he cry. He eats alone and is funny look at him because always the cookie that he have disapeared in a second. It's in Luca's mouth.

Hello! With this picture we want you to know more about us.

We are Victoria Iadarola and Pilar Moya. We are 13 years old. As you know we have been studing at Saint Augustine's school since 1998.

We are best friends. When we are together in free time, we always go to the shopping, to the cinema, listen to music , talk all the breaks and of course we study together.
We usually go to parties on Fridays or we go to sleep in one house. We spend a lot of good moments together!

We love taking funny photographs and this is one of those. We like doing this, becuase we think that in the future, when we would have 18 years old, we would make an album or a video with all this photos. And that would remember the funniest moments that we had passed.

Fortunetly, the first part of the year have already finished and we have all the subjects with more than 6. We are very happy about this!
In our opinion first year is a very big change becuase we have more teachers and a lot of subjects and tests. All this make it very difficult for us...

300

Well, 300 is one of my favorite films because of the secial efects that it has. I know that the history is not like that but for me it was very interesting.

The film is about the "Termopilas" war between Spartans and Persians. Something that both, the film and the history, is that the two where very bloody. In the film doesn't show is that the Spartans where hide between the rocks and when the Persians where passing, the kill the easily.

The name 300 is becas when the Spartans atack the Persians the first day, a Spartan soldier that wasn't in conditions to fight, say to Xerxes (persian king) where the Spartans where hide and the Spartans where going to day yes or yes. In that moment, the Spartan king, Leonidas, say to his soldiers that they were all going to die and only 300 soldiers stay for honor.

The film is very bloody and a bit exagerated. For me, the film give to the Spartans a real glory and in the fil show how, in the first day, no Spartans soldiers died.

Hi! I want to talk about my dogs,Napoleon,Chopper and Bethoven.You can say that I'm crazy because I have three but I love them!
First I'm going to write about the old one
Bethoven:
Bethoven is a Beagle,he is 8 years old,and we bought it because my sister,one day saw him in the veterinary and she didn`t stop crying.He is a calm dog,he is always sleeping in my bed as all nights.When he was a puppy he was always running but now the things that he always do, are eat and sleep.
Chopper:
Chopper is a Bulldog.He is 1 year old.He is very funny:the face,his body.He doesn`t play so much but when we go with him to the park he run so fast that I can`t catch him!.He is a very good dog but when he is angry with me,he bit me.
Napoleon:
Napoleon is a Bulldog like Chopper,He is 10 months.He is not as funny as Chopper.He play all the time with me with the ball,with the bounce and he think that biting my hands is funny!.He is always running,no sleeping.He sometimes sleep in my bed,so I have to be crouched.

Harry Potter is the best film I have ever seen, a series of fantasy novels written by J.K Rowling, which were taken to the big screen. Besides, success played an important role in this big phenomenon.
The story starts with the unrestrained celebration of a normally-secretive wizarding world which for many years had been terrorised by Lord Voldemort. The previous night, Voldemort had discovered the refuge of the hidden Potter family, and killed Lily and James Potter. However, when he attempted to kill Harry, the Avada Kedavra killing curse rebounded upon him, and Voldemort was destroyed, becoming nothing more than a spirit: neither dead nor alive. Harry, meanwhile, was left with a distinctive lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead, the only physical sign of Voldemort's curse. Harry's mysterious defeat of Voldemort results in him being dubbed "The Boy Who Lived" by the wizarding community.
The following night, a wizard (Hagrid) delivers Harry to what will be his residence for many years afterward. The orphaned Harry is raised by his cruel, non-magical relatives, the Dursleys who, hide his magical heritage and give him severe punishments after several strange occurrences.However, as his eleventh birthday approaches, Harry has his first contact with the magical world when he receives letters from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which are taken from him by his Aunt and Uncle before he has a chance to read them.
On his eleventh birthday he is informed by Hagrid, the gamekeeper of Hogwarts, that he is in fact a wizard and has been invited to attend Hogwarts. Each movie chronicles one year in Harry's life, which is mostly spent at Hogwarts, where he learns to use magic and brew potions. Harry also learns to overcome many magical, social, and emotional obstacles as he struggles through his adolescence, Voldemort's rise to power and the Ministry of Magic's consistent denials of Voldemort's threat for a whole year.

In my opinion Harry Potter is a delightful story, it gives you the idea of how a magical world could be. It is also a trapping story and worth recommending. This story is not only for young children but adults would like to be part of this magical world as well.
